Father's Day

This weekend Jason and I traveled north to Chillicothe to celebrate two special occasions: Father's Day and Grandpa's birthday, which is just around the corner. (I hope I look that good when I'm 84!) We also got to visit with Tracy and her kids, Madison and Luke, who were in from Washington.

After lunch and a birthday ice cream cake, we all trooped out to the shed for the main event. Madison coordinated teams of the younger people to compete against each other in "Minute to Win It" contests. See here for more photos. Then it was the "old people's" turn - siblings versus inlaws. After the games, a trophy was unceremoniously handed to Justin, as captain of the winning younger team, and then reclaimed and placed on the table. There never was a full awards ceremony. Instead, the youth adjourned to the yard for freeze tag, hide-n-seek, and later, hide the Presley in the basement.
