Friday morning Soren and I got up to visit Great-grandma Schad. Then we all went to visit Aunt Leta and tell her how we've traced the Schad side of the family back to the mid-1600s in Germany with the help of my brother-in-law David.
Grandpa D joined us for lunch; Soren sure does like his glasses.
Saturday was pretty much a blur, but on Sunday, Mother's Day, we gave Grandma S a "Proud New Grandma" button to wear to church. You can see her wearing it a few pews behind Soren.
Unfortunately, this is the only photo I have of
my mom on Mother's Day. (sad face) We ate lunch at Great-grandma Schad's house and visited with the cousins before heading home to Daddy.
